loose connection to battery - failed to charge
I was under the impression from the product description that you could use this charger by plugging it in to an AC outlet (apparently true), but then also charge your extra battery from your computers USB port with a USB cable. This may be true, but I have never seen a USB cable that has the computer-side plug at both ends. In AC mode, I was able to power the blackberry itself from the unit with a standard USB cable, however. Biggest problem was the crappy connection between the charger, battery adaptor, and battery. Any slight movement or tap, or sometimes not even that was required, resulted in the battery connection to the charger being lost and charging stopped. The three pieces did not fit snugly enough together for me to have great confidence in this unit. I may have recieved a defective unit, but I think I will try a different model next time based on the feel and performance of this one.
